Document Description
The California Department of Transportation proposes a safety project in El Dorado, Glenn, Sutter, and Yuba counties on State Routes (SR) 20, 45, 99 and 193. This project proposes to install centerline/shoulder rumble strips, refresh traffic striping and grind/pave. The purpose of this project is to reduce the number of fatal and serious injury collisions. The proposed project is needed because a 2021 Cross Over Monitoring Report identified collisions between January 2017 to December 2021. These segments were analyzed and determined that a total of 16 fatal and 28 serious injury collisions occurred. 03-1N590
