Document Description
San Joaquin Field Division plans to install two solar powered light poles next to the Wheeler Ridge Pumping Plant (WRPP) entry gate. The new light poles will be installed two feet away from the existing light poles. To do this work, a hydro vac truck will be used to excavate two 24-inch diameter holes. Each hole would have a max depth of 6 feet. Wooden forms would be constructed around the holes. Sonotubes would also be used. Concrete would be mixed in a cement mixer and poured into the forms. After the light pole bases are installed, all forms will be removed. This work is anticipated to take at most two weeks to complete. All work would be completed within the DWR right-of-way. This work is necessary to provide more lighting at the entry gate.
