The proposed forest management work is exempt from the application of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under State CEQA Guidelines, Class 4 (Minor Alterations to Land) and the Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District's Local CEQA Guidelines, Class 4, Sub 2 (Minor Alterations to Land - Mechanical or Chemical Control of Invasive Plants), Class 4, Sub 3 (Minor Alterations to Land - Routine Vegetation Management to Reduce Wildfire Hazard) and Class 4, Sub 4 (Minor Alterations to Land - Grazing/ Prescribed Fire/ and Vegetation Thinning to Reduce Wildfire Hazard). There are no unusual circumstances associated with either the proposed project or with its location which would cause it to have a significant effect on the environment.
