Document Description
The project consists of the installation of Flock Safety automated license plate reading (ALPR) cameras to be installed on behalf of the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office. The installation consists of a camera and solar panel mounted on X2 RediTorque breakaway poles with concrete foundations. The purpose of the installation is to provide law enforcement with the ability to detect license plates associated with criminal activity and to assist law enforcement with intercepting these vehicles. The beneficiaries of the project are both law enforcement and the public at large as this installation will serve public safety interests.
