Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit for American Dark Fiber LLC to pothole, bore, and install 577 feet of 4-inches of high-density polyethylene conduit with fiber optic cable, construct two 36-inch wide by 60-inch length by 36-inch deep vaults and perform associated traffic control activities within the state right-of-way, on State Route (SR) 2 (Santa Monica Blvd.), at post mile (PM)10.82, in the city of Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 42 inches, an average width of 12 inches, and a maximum length of 577 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
