Document Description
The Robinson K-8 All Weather Field project includes, but is not limited too;
Removal of existing natural turf play field/existing asphalt and installation of a new synthetic turf play field, new field to be striped for football and soccer. Approximate size of field to be 120' x 300' (striped to a forty (40) yard line), accessibility upgrades to the path of travel, including student/staff restrooms, and signage as required to meet CBC 2022, new Asphalt running track in addition to the synthetic turf already noted. Installation of new chain-link gate, concrete curbs, pedestal drinking fountain, accessible upgrades to restrooms, landscaping, and concrete steps.

The proposed activity is a project subject to CEQA. However, it is exempt from further environmental analysis under Class 1, Existing Facilities (CEQA Guidelines §15301) and Class 14 Minor Additions 1o Schools (CEQA Guidelines §15314. Class 1 consists of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use. Class 14 consists of minor additions to existing schools within existing school grounds where the addition does not increase original student capacity by more than 25% or ten classrooms, whichever is less.
