Caltrans proposes to replace, enhance, and improve signage near the SR-75 Coronado Bridge Toll Plaza in San Diego County between PM 20.186 and 20.467. Specifically, the project would include the replacement of four signs, two of which require larger signs to match regulatory CA-MUTCD standards and two which are significantly damaged. One of these signs would require post realignment. It would also include the removal of one sign and post, and the installation of two new posts for a Navy Base sign just south of the removed sign. The project aims to improve guidance to the Naval Base and minimize erroneous drivers reaching the base.
