Document Description
Caltrans proposes pavement rehab work on State Route 98 (SR 98) in Imperial County, between PM 30.8 and 39.7, which is approximately 22 lane-miles. The work consists of cold planing the asphalt concrete (AC) pavement and placing back Rubberized Hot Mix Asphalt – Type G (RHMA-G) on the lanes and shoulders at controlled intersections with HMA –Type A (HMA-A). The project scope also includes lighting rehabilitation, sign panel replacement, upgrading curb ramps to American Disabilities Act (ADA) standard, flashing beacons, census stations and traffic signals, and complete street improvement as well as replacing existing safety systems.
