The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board is funding the Project referred to internally as Septic to Sewer Conversion Project. The Project includes evaluating sewer improvements to connect the 20 homes on the west side of the Salinas River and extending the existing sanitary sewer system across the Salinas River to serve 78 homes currently on septic systems within the community of San Miguel. The Project also includes the evaluation of infrastructure on private property to decommission existing septic systems and connect homes to the sanitary sewer system.
