Document Description
The project would construct improvements to the Jamboree Road/Irvine Boulevard intersection. The improvements would convert the existing southbound free right-turn lane on Jamboree Road into a dedicated right-turn lane with a standard pocket and reconstruct the northwestern curb and sidewalk. Through lane widths would be reduced to 11 feet, and an 8-foot Class II bike lane would be incorporated for all legs of the intersection. The existing facilities on Jamboree Road and Irvine Boulevard would be protected. Additionally, the proposed project would include traffic signal modifications with radar detection, incorporate American with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant curb ramps, grading, sidewalk improvements, and landscaping improvements.
