Document Description
The proposed project is for a license for a small outdoor cultivation license for commercial cannabis. The project site is located at 32370 Timberline Rd in Willits Mendocino County CA 95454 (APN 037-670-09-00). The proposed project is for 9,280 sf of mature cultivation within a 16,252-acre project footprint. Historic images show what appears to be cannabis cultivation on site as early as 2009. The current project footprint was established circa 2013. Irrigation is supplied by an existing on-site ground water well and on-site rainwater catchment pond. Maximum annual water is estimated at 136,857 gallons. Power is supplied by PG&E through existing infrastructure with a yearly projection total of 6200 kWh.

Class 1 Categorical Exemptions consist of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alterations to existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
