Document Description
Preparation of an IS/ND for a Lot Line Adjustment (LLA) and a Variance (VAR), affecting APN 011-220-130 (Prior APN 011-220-007). The LLA would separate an existing agricultural airstrip into its own parcel of approximately 2.43 acres and adjust an existing lot line while maintaining two legal non-conforming parcels.
The Variance is requested to allow a reduced parcel size below the minimum 40-acre lot size requirement for Exclusive Agriculture zoning in order to accommodate the existing agricultural airstrip as a standalone parcel. The airstrip functions as an agricultural support facility serving surrounding agricultural operations and is not intended for independent development. The project does not include new development, building construction, or expansion of existing uses. Ground disturbance would be limited to minor survey work and recordation-related activities associated with the LLA. Ongoing agricultural operations, including seasonal aerial seeding, spraying, and fertilization activities, would continue.
