Document Description
The purpose of the project is to restore pavement to good service condition, improve ride quality, extend the service life of the roadway and upgrade signage and safety features to meet current standards. Caltrans District 9 is proposing a 0.20' depth overlay of the existing pavement on U.S. Route 6 from post miles R16.9 to 26.5. Other project related work includes: the installation of new and replacement of existing guardrail to meet current standards; the placement of shoulder backing; the replacement of existing asphalt dike; paved and dirt driveway conforms to match new limits of pavement and shoulder backing.
