Document Description
The San Jose Creek Water Reclamation Plant Operations Control Room and Laboratory buildings, and a modular laboratory trailer, consist of an approximately 32,000 square feet workspace that provides critical support for the Districts' operations. The current roofing systems of these buildings are more than 30 years old, in poor condition, and have experienced chronic leaks. The roofs have been repaired numerous times, but have developed additional water leaks that are no longer cost-effective to repair and require replacement. In addition, some rooftop HVAC equipment is obsolete and inefficient, requiring replacement. Among other items, the proposed project would include improvements such as additional guardrails for safe rooftop access and the refurbishment of existing roof drains.
