Document Description
Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison to replace deteriorated utility pole #1327175E and attach a down guy and anchor within Caltrans right-of-way (ROW) under Interstate (I) 10 at post mile (PM) 24.85, as well as perform traffic control activities, in the City of Monterey Park, Los Angeles County. A northbound lane closure will be needed on New Avenue, and temporary California Highway Patrol-led traffic breaks will be needed on I-10. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 120 inches and minimum depth of 114 inches, and an average width and length of 20 inches by 24 inches. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new ROW will be acquired.
