Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number PLA-50266-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Amazing Facts International. The project is limited to the installation of a culvert on the unnamed tributary to Miners Ravine. The project would require removal of less than 1 cubic yard of rocks and dirt from the existing streambed using shovels and possibly an excavator. A 20-foot long, 24-inch diameter corrugated plastic culvert will be placed in the excavated area and a temporary form will be built on both sides to create a concrete structure around the culvert. After the concrete sets, the temporary form will be removed, and existing road-base material will be backfilled up to and over the culvert structure. Four-inch and larger rocks collected from onsite will be placed at each end of the culvert to help reduce the risk of soil erosion and to help direct water into the culvert. The area where rock will be placed includes approximately 1 square foot of creek on either side of the culvert.
