Document Description
This Project will improve the existing one-way eastbound Class II facility and the one-block Class III section between 7th and 8th Streets and provide safe cycle crossing of the light rail tracks. The project proposes to install a two-way separated bikeway on the south side of H Street between 5th and 10th Streets. Travel lanes may be reduced from two to one on some blocks to accommodate the bikeway. Other potential improvements include traffic signal modifications and accessibility improvements. The project also proposes to install a Class IV buffered bikeway on the east side of 10th Street between H Street and I Street. The improvements proposed for this project would be implemented within the City's existing right-of-way.
