Rehabilitate pavement, replace shoulder rumble strips, upgrade culverts, upgrade existing guardrail, upgrade Americans with Disabilities Act curb ramps, upgrade transportation management systems and ramp metering systems, upgrade crosswalk and bike lane striping, install a flashing beacon for pedestrian and bicycle facilities, and install rock blankets to improve roadside safety along Interstate 10 between project limits in and near the cities of Palm Springs, Cathedral City, and Thousand Palms in Riverside County.
