Document Description
San Bernardino County is proposing the acquisition of a fully improved existing approximately 35,347- square-foot industrial warehouse, built in 2005 and located on a 1.65-acre parcel, to be repurposed as a regional navigation center and interim housing facility. Improvements will include a 150-bed congregate sleeping area, 50 non-congregate units, restrooms and showers, personal grooming stations, secure storage, ADA-compliant access, a medical clinic, case management offices, a commercial kitchen, laundry facilities, and community and staff support spaces. The project will utilize the existing structure and infrastructure, requiring primarily interior tenant improvements with minimal exterior modifications.
