Document Description
The purpose of this project is acquire 101 acres of land from CEMEX to add to Mount Diablo State Park to increase existing park lands and provide a buffer between the park and the CEMEX mining operation. The land to be acquired is adjacent to northeast boundary of MDSP where a portion of the park’s Black Point Trail was constructed on the CEMEX property. The acquisition protects the established and popular Black Point Trail for public use and protects the natural resources within the property from significant damage through further development.
