Document Description
Time Extension application for a Site Approval PA-2100157 to expand an existing Religious Assembly. The original Site Approval application was to utilize an existing 8,000 square foot building for a religious assembly on a 0.67 acre parcel. The existing building contains a 6,115 square foot retail sales and service facility and a 1,885 square foot religious assembly. The project included a total of thirty four (34) parking spaces. The parcel will be served by California Water Service for water, The City of Stockton for waste water disposal, and San Joaquin County Department of Public Works for storm drainage. The religious assembly proposes to operate Thursday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with five (5) employees and ninety-nine (99) participants. The project site will access East Waterloo Road with one (1) access driveway.

This project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per CEQA Guidelines section 15061 (b)(3). Section 15061 (b)(3) states that "CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment. Where it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment, the activity is not subject to CEQA." There is no possibility that this project may have a significant effect on the environment and, therefore, the project is not subject to CEQA.
