Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement No. EPIMS-VEN-60353-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the City of Thousand Oaks as represented by Patrick McCulloch.
The Project is limited to regular maintenance activities and inspection activities along the wastewater interceptor Unit W and Y. These activities will mainly consist of vegetation trimming, access road maintenance, culvert/crossing maintenance, and the implementation of four temporary crossings but several unique maintenance activities will occur at specific facilities. There are a total of 20 utility facilities across seven distinct access road segments. Within the facility are access roads, pedestrian access paths, and utility facilities (pipeline cleanout access points, valves, and manholes).

The Lead Agency determined that the Project meets certain qualifying criteria for the exemption. Pursuant to Public Resources Code section 21080.1(a), the Lead Agency is responsible for determining whether the Project is exempt from CEQA and that
determination shall be final and conclusive on all persons, including Responsible Agencies. As
a result, CDFW, acting as a Responsible Agency, is bound by the Lead Agency’s
determination that the Project is exempt from CEQA.
