Document Description
The AHSC Round 3 Path Villas Hollywood STI and TRA Improvements (Project) is a component of the AHSC housing project at Path Villas Hollywood (Housing project). The Project consists of 61 curb ramp replacement/upgrades, 36 new or upgraded crosswalk locations, 2,631 linear feet (LF) of sidewalk improvements, one pedestrian refuge island, 15,666 LF of bike friendly striping and signage, 2,869 LF of bike lanes, one bike box, two bus shelters, 21 new street trees, 22 new or upgraded streetlights and four tree removals. Project beneficiaries include community members, pedestrians, bus riders, bicyclists, and drivers who will have improved streets. Please see the project description continuation in the narrative for more details. The removal is subject to approval by the Bureau of Street Services (StreetsLA) and the Board of Public Works. On January 23, 2025 the Bureau of Engineering approved the Project contingent upon the approval of the tree removals by the Board of Public Works. On February 11, 2026, the City of Los Angeles, Board of Public Works approved the Tree Removal Permit and determined the Project to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) (Board of Public Works File No. BPW-2026-0077).
