The Project proposes up to 5,000 SF of mature cannabis cultivation at 5831 San Leandro ST, Unit D, Oakland, CA (APN: 41-3914-8-1). The project will occur in an existing 60,368 SF industrial warehouse, already housing other cannabis activities. The Project is consistent with all of Oakland’s community, general, and zoning plans for an industrial lot. The operator holds a letter of written verification from CDFW and a conditional waiver for the Water Board General Order. EBMUD and PG&E confirm service for water and power respectively.

Class 32 Categorical Exemptions are consistent with applicable general plan designation and all applicable general plan policies as well as with applicable zoning designation and regulations, occurs within city limits on a project site of no more than five acres substantially surrounded by urban uses, has no value, as habitat for endangered, rare or threatened species, would not result in any significant effects relating to traffic, noise, air quality, or water quality, and can be adequately served by all required utilities and public services. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
