Document Description
The Angels Gate Park Master Plan Implementation project (Project) consists of demolition of one barracks building, and two latrines, refurbishment of the gate structure at the Gaffey Street entrance, sidewalk and pedestrian improvements,
directory sign improvements, and landscaping maintenance. Project beneficiaries include neighbors, park patrons, and park employees. Please see the Project description continuation in the narrative for more details. On October 14, 2025, a Notice of Decision was issued by the City Engineer approving the Local Coastal Development Permit for the Project.

Additionally, the Project is exempt pursuant to Los Angeles CEQA Guidelines Article III, Section 1, Existing Facilities, Class 1 Categories 3, 8, and 11(d), and Class 4 Category 3. None of the limitations set forth in State CEQA Guidelines 15300.2 apply (see attached
narrative).
