Document Description
In order to provide operational, fire and emergency water storage in Eastern Municipal Water District's (EMWD) 2194 Pressure Zone (PZ), the proposed project would provide a variety of improvements to existing facilities. The scope of the proposed project includes: installation of 3,200 ft of 12-inch diameter pipeline parallel to the existing pipeline in Kalmia Avenue between Mar El Street and Rockspur Court; and upsizing two existing pressure reducing valves (PRVs) from 4-inches to 6-inches (see Table 1 for details). Beneficiaries of the project are EMWD ratepayers, particularly those residing in Dale 2194 PZ.
