It would consist of an effluent distribution structure located 22 feet deep between ponds 3 and 6 and at the end of an existing 18-inch pipeline, with laterals connecting to these two ponds. The purpose of the proposed project would be to store and withdraw effluent from the ponds via laterals to ponds 3 and 6 and to assess the condition of the 18-inch pipe. Beneficiaries of the project are EMWD ratepayers, as the project would increase efficiency at the MVRWRF.
