Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number YOL-62075-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Yolo County Flood Control and Water Conservation District. The project is limited to the removal and replacement of an existing Winters Canal 60-inch diameter 60-foot-long corrugated siphon pipe, and headworks/headgate, the placement of 18-inch thick layer of rip rap (rock class 3) covering the estimated 4,250 square foot area of disturbance and replaced pipe itself. Disturbance (trenching) will occur over a 55-foot width inclusive of the 5-foot diameter replacement pipe, extend up to 18 feet in depth (inclusive of 18-inch layer of rip rap, 5-foot diameter pipe, and 10-foot depth below current bed), and the full length of the siphon pipe. The 29 trees proposed for removal are also proposed to be replaced by the district.
