Considering the following actions to implement state law and Objective 8.6 (Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing) of the 2023-2031 Housing Element: 1. Adoption of a Resolution amending the City’s General Plan Land Use Element; and 2. Introduction of an Ordinance amending the Concord Municipal Code, Title 18 (Development Code), Chapters 18.15 (Zoning Districts and Zoning Map), 18.25 (Development and Land Use Approvals), 18.30 (Residential Districts), 18.40 (Office and Commercial Districts), and 18.410 (Zoning Clearance), and adding Chapter 18.120 (Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Overlay District) and rezoning approximately 20 acres to apply the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Overlay District by reading of the title only and waiving further reading.
