Document Description
The County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works (County) proposes to apply micro-surfacing to multiple County maintained roads. All roads included in this project are to receive either a Type II or Type III micro surface, a double treatment of Type II and/or Type III micro surface, or a Type II or Type Ill polymer modified slurry seal. There are 13 ADA curb ramp upgrades included in this project. The objective of this project is to improve the condition of these roads, maintain a smooth riding surface, and ensure safe access for motorists. Work will include traffic control, removal of existing pavement markings, application of micro-surfacing, and restriping.

This action is classified as a Categorical Exemption under the definitions laid out in Article 19, Section 15301 (c) (Existing Facilities) in which the operation, repair, maintenance, or minor alterations of existing public facilities (such as streets) involving negligible or no expansion of existing use are exempt. During review of the project no exceptions as described in section 15300.2 of the CEQA Guidelines, were determined to be applicable to the project.
