Document Description
Project consists of conducting geotechnical investigations at the Big Basin Redwoods State Park Water Treatment Plant in Big Basin State Park to identify soil conditions and provide geotechnical engineering design parameters and recommendations for planned improvements. The consultant will perform up to four (4) concrete cores in the existing foundation to understand the strength of the existing concrete. They will drill two (2) exploratory borings of approximately 20-foot in depth. Borings will be backfilled with excavated material. Two (2) excavations will be dug on the perimeter of the existing treatment plant to evaluate the existing footing depths. They will also be backfilled with the excavated material.
