The project is categorically exempt from CEQA pursuant to Section 15301 (Class 1 - Existing Facilities), 15302 (Class 2 – Replacement or Reconstruction), and Section 15303 (Class 3 - New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures) in that the project consists minor alterations to an existing public park involving no expansion of existing tennis courts, replacement of existing structures (light fixtures on poles) where the new structures will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and have substantially the same purpose and capacity, and installation of new accessory structures (light poles and fixtures) to an existing park.
