Document Description
WM proposes to modify their Solid Waste Facility Permit at the Simi Valley Landfill & Recycling Center and remove the 8,000 tons per day (TPD) limit on MSM and recyclables, with no change to the existing maximum daily and weekly tonnages. Maximum daily tonnage will remain at 12,000 TPD and maximum weekly tonnage will remain at 64,750 tons per week. Estimated closure date is changed from 2063 to November 2056, due to change in calculation of Airspace Utilization Factor and Increase in projected annual tonnage.
