Document Description
The Project will relocate existing 12,000 Volt overhead electrical facilities to accommodate the Cerritos Avenue roadway extension and various site enhancements. The Project will underground the existing overhead utility pole line crossing the State Route (SR) 57 Freeway overpass along Cerritos Avenue and Douglass Road. Construction activities will be coordinated with affected
agencies including the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), Union Pacific Railroad and Southern California Edison.

Reasons for Exemption
The Anaheim City Council determined that the Project is categorically exempt from CEQA pursuant to Sections 15301(b), 15302(c) and (d), and 15303 of Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations. The Project will consist of relocating existing overhead utility lines to underground and installing minor street apparatuses, which do not have the potential to create a significant effect on the environment. The work areas will be restored to pre-Project conditions as part of the construction activities.
