Document Description
Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit that Southern California Edison (SCE) proposes to replace the existing 35-foot Class 5 wood pole GT75517 with a new 35-foot Class 5 wood pole at its existing location along westbound (WB) State Route 118(SR-118), at post mile (PM) 4.31, as well as to perform associated temporary traffic control activities on Santa Clara Ave, in the City of Somis. SCE will remove the old pole from the field, and the new pole will be shielded behind an existing guardrail along SR-118. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 96 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 2 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
