Document Description
The purpose of the geotechnical investigation is to develop design recommendations for the alternatives being considered for the rehabilitation or repair of Fernbridge (bridge over the Eel River in Humboldt County). The investigation would include a total of 7 drill locations consisting of 5 soil borings (2 on the river bar and 3 in upland) and 2 piezometers (in upland). Drilling depth would be approximately 300-feet and the size of the boreholes would not exceed 6-inches.
