Document Description
The City of Inglewood (City) proposes the development of active transportation improvements for the Westchester/Veterans Station. The Project would provide public right-of-way improvements, including high-visibility crosswalks, ADA-compliant access ramps, a new traffic signal, grade-separated Class IV bikeway and pedestrian pathway, sidewalk improvements, and modify existing traffic signal phases on West Florence Avenue from Hindry Avenue to the west to Ash Avenue to the east. The Project would be approximately 1,850 linear feet (0.35 miles) long and would be located on the north side of Florence Avenue, crossing Interstate 405 (I-405). The purpose of this Project is to improve access to the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) Westchester/Veterans station. The Project would consist of work entirely within the public right-of-way.
