Document Description
The purpose of the project is to rehabilitate Pump Plants located on State Route (SR) 92 at postmile R7.41 and Interstate (I) 280 at postmiles 9.42 and 10.25. Pumps elements and associated controls at these facilities need rehabilitation due to existing pump elements and controls are malfunctioning or not working and are long past their service life cycle. This project is needed because existing pump plant structure and mechanical equipment have exceeded their design life and are unable to provide the capacity to manage the 50-year storm events and protect existing Caltrans infrastructure from flooding and associated damage. All work is in operational right-of-way.
