Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is proposing to increase pedestrian safety by installing high visibility crosswalk pavement markings in 11 locations along State Route 203 within Caltrans right-of-way. The project will apply recessed thermoplastic high visibility pavement markings to crosswalks, limit lines, and install Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant countdown timers and push buttons at crosswalk signals. New post-mounted signs will also be installed at the crosswalks.
