Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number LAK-63691-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Wayne Joseph. The project is limited to the installation of 69 linear feet of new seawall, 4 feet lakeward of the existing wall, with two 4-foot return walls, and the replacement of the existing deck. The seawall will be supported by ten 8-inch diameter steel piles, spaced approximately 6-feet apart, with two horizontal steel walers along its height. The seawall will be constructed to a height of 6-feet above the lakebed and will be backfilled with ¾-inch drain rock to ensure proper drainage, using approximately 40 cubic yards of drain rock. The rebuilt deck will be supported by four 8-inch diameter steel piles and the newly constructed seawall. All materials will be staged on the barge on site. No vegetation will be removed as part of this project. The project will be constructed using welders, power tools, trucks, and a barge with a mounted excavator and pneumatic hammer.
