This project qualifies for the following CEQA exemptions: a statutory exemption pursuant to Pub. Res. Code § 21080.25(b)(1) (pedestrian and bicycle facilities that improve safety, access, or mobility); a Class 1 (Existing Facilities) categorical exemption (14 CCR § 15301, see subd. (c)); a Class 4 (Minor Alterations) categorical exemption (14 CCR § 15304, see subd. (h)); and the Common Sense Exemption (14 CCR §15061). The project fits within these exempt categories and none of the exceptions to the CEQA exemptions listed in 14 CCR § 15300 are applicable. Finally, it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the project may have a significant effect on the environment.
