Heavy rainfall resulted in significant increased runoff and sediment/debris flows which have currently and historically eroded, washed out and inundated roadways, public infrastructure, residences, other real property, and entire communities within the Mojave, Sonoran, and other southern California desert communities, posing an imminent threat to life and property. Project includes but is not limited to in-kind structural/appurtenant structure repairs, and excavation/removal of accumulated sediment, debris, and rocks from roadways and adjacent tributaries along National Trails Highway, in SB County DPW Transportation Yard 10, including but no limited to bridges 29 and 46 in, including but not limited to, the unincorporated communities of Lavic, Argos, Ludlow, Klondike, Bagdad, and Amboy, San Bernardino County.
