Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number PLA-61990-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Placer County Water Agency as represented by Heather Trejo.
The project is limited to the following three activities:
• Sediment Removal: Physical removal of 40,000 cubic yards (CY) of accumulated sediment from Ralston Afterbay in the vicinity of the Ralston Afterbay Dam and Ralston-Oxbow Tunnel Intake structure.
• Sediment Disposal: Disposal of removed sediment at an existing, approved disposal area.
• Low Level Outlet (LLO) Trash Rack Replacement: Removal of the existing steel trash rack and installation of a new structural trash rack on the Ralston Afterbay Dam LLO to allow required operation/cycling of the LLO.
