Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed
Streambed Alteration Agreement, EPIMS Notification Number GLE-48425-R2, pursuant to
Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Logan Giesbrecht.
The project consists of restoration of an unpermitted bank cut on the Jacinto Unit of the
Sacramento River Wildlife Area to prevent further bank erosion and further adverse impacts
to the habitat supported on the wildlife area. This restoration project is being carried out in
response to a Notice of Violation (NOV) issued by CDFW in 2021.

Reasons for Exemption
Class 2 because the project consists of reconstruction of a
stormwater drainage channel and small section of the wildlife area to pre-violation conditions.
Class 4 because the activity consists of minor alterations to the existing wildlife area and it
does not involve the removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees. Class 33 because the project
will involve restoration and enhancement of existing natural habitat present on the wildlife
area.
