Document Description
Request for a Conditional Use Permit to construct an interconnection pipeline along a bridge on River Grove Drive to connect the area west of the Estrella River back to the remainder of the Green River Mutual Water Company (GRMWC) water distribution system. The project includes improvements to Well Site 04, including installation of a new 10,000-gallon nominal storage tank (11.75 feet in diameter and 13.3 feet in height) to enhance operational storage, and construction of a new booster pump station consisting of up to two 15-horsepower variable speed high-service pumps for normal system operations, with one pump acting as a backup. Extra manifold piping and valving will be provided to accommodate a future high-flow emergency pump. Additional improvements include installation of a hydropneumatic tank; site electrical facilities including, but not limited to, a motor control center (MCC), variable frequency drive (VFD), magnetic flow meter, and pressure transducer; and a combination altitude and back pressure valve equipped for delayed opening at lower reservoir levels (one for the existing tank and one for the proposed tank). The project also includes installation of chlorination injection equipment and enclosure, an eyewash station and shower, and demolition of the existing Well 04. The proposed project is located within the Public Facilities (PF) land use category in the Shandon-Carrizo Sub Area North of the North County Planning Area.
