Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-NAP-51241-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code, to James Conley.
The Project is limited to restoration activities to improve stream and riparian habitat following unauthorized impacts that occurred along a graded dirt road and an unnamed tributary to Jericho Creek. Restoration activities include: 1) removal of invasive French broom (Genista monspessulana) and Mauritanian grass (Stipa mauritanica) over an area of approximately 13,086 square feet (0.30 acre), 2) new plantings of 19 coast live oak trees (Quercus agrifolia) and 12 toyon shrubs (Heteromeles arbutifolia), and 3) manual removal of exposed broken plastic culvert material spanning the graded road. No machinery or motorized equipment will be used to complete Project activities. The graded road will be retired from use and no vehicular travel will occur on this road in after the Project is completed.
