Document Description
The Amazon 900 7th Street Project previously operated as a Recology waste management services site for automotive uses, including parking and maintaining their fleet of garbage trucks, and administrative uses. The proposed project would demolish all the existing structures on the project site and construct a new, approximately 710,000 square-feet production, distribution, and repair (PDR) building with approximately 706,000 square-feet of parcel delivery service uses (including approximately 17,700 square-feet of accessory office use) and approximately 3,562 square-feet of ground level commercial space. The proposed project would provide approximately 13,700 square feet of public open space at the corner of 7th and Berry streets. The proposed project would provide 510 employee parking spaces located on the roof of the PDR building and 61 bicycle parking spaces. The proposed project would provide 503 spaces for vans and local delivery vehicles. The proposed project would include construction along the project site frontage to accommodate vehicular access to the project site, which would include creating two new curb cuts on Channel Street and one new curb cut on 7th Street. Construction of the proposed project is anticipated to take place over 18 months, beginning in 2028.
