Document Description
Minor Use Permit (MUP) No. 2025-0001 authorizes two 40-square-foot electronic message displays, one on each side of an existing permitted monument sign. The proposed signed will serve a religious facility by displaying information associated with on-site activities offered by the facility to the community. Pursuant to section 17.190.180 of the El Cajon Municipal Code (ECMC), electronic message displays may be authorized as part of any permitted sign display, subject to the same height, sign area, and location limitations of the permitted sign, and subject to the granting of a minor use permit. Furthermore, conditions of the MUP approval and ECMC section 17.190.180 will ensure they do not become a nuisance to the existing and planned land uses in the vicinity.
