Reasons for Exemption
The project will install additional power cabinets and smaller-sized cranes to an existing operational facility that will result in a relatively small area of disturbance for installation of conduit connections. These additional features are intended to provide additional operational flexibility onsite and will not expand operations outside of the existing facility footprint. The work will occur during the day and outside of bird nesting season so noise, dust, and other construction impacts would be reduced to wildlife resources. Minimal vegetation may be removed adjacent to the tracks as part of this work.
