Document Description
Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Pacific Bell Telephone Company, dba AT&T California, to excavate and perform cable work at the existing pole (#1714052E) within Caltrans right-of-way (ROW) along State Route (SR) 105 at postmile R0.61, as well as perform traffic control activities in the City of El Segundo, Los Angeles County. Approximately 16 square feet of concrete sidewalk will be excavated at the southwest corner of Imperial Hwy and North Sepulveda Blvd. to remove the buddy pole (tagged #1714052E). The proposed work will involve transferring existing AT&T cables and hardware from the buddy pole to the full-length pole. Pacific Bell Telephone Company is requesting a temporary encroachment permit to access Caltrans ROW near PM R0.61 to complete the above-mentioned work. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 42 inches, and an average width and length of 4 feet by 4 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired.
